Crockpot Beef Stew With Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into cubes
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ red bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1/2 lb. peas
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 med-big potatos (your choice) diced (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Steps

Step 1

Season the meat with salt and pepper

Step 2

Heat the oil and sauté the meat along with the garlic

Step 3

Stir in the paprika, but be careful not to burn it

Step 4

Stir in the onion, the carrots, the mushrooms, the bell peppers, the tomato sauce, the peas, and the potatos

Step 5

Season with salt and pepper

Step 6

Cover with a lid and let simmer in its own steam for 4 hours
